Norway, A Great Trip To Lofoten. Part 2: Saltstraumen, Bude

Лофотены

The next day we went to Bodo. This city is still in Russian called Buda, and the Norwegian name - Bodø. About it later, but for now we will go along the fjords and look at the Norwegian tranquil beauty.

We went on this route:

24. In the morning the weather is often inclement. And this is the typical weather. So if someone will show you beautiful pictures from Norway with sun, sea, happy faces dry - do not trust this man. He just dissembles and hides here such pictures, with rain and gray clouds. Although this weather has its charms.

25. Our first bridge. More - more.

26. By noon the weather began to improve. Or maybe we just went from bad weather away ...

27. Narrows Bridge Saltstraumen. This is a narrow isthmus between the fjord and the sea. On the Norwegian bridges can be discussed separately - they are all very similar, and all blend in with nature in a single unit.

28. And here is the bridge. Across the isthmus between the fjords occur millions of tons of sea water per day during the tide. We just caught the tide: see how the water is boiling!

29. Here we had lunch. It is interesting to observe how the water rises at high tide.

30. We have a local business - tourists on motor-boat ride under the bridge at high tide. Here, it is just a little peasant amused:

31. On the first bridge for us a beautiful panoramic view of the neighborhood:

32. This is the night when the weather turned bad. Boats them neat and clean. On each - the phone number of the owner:

33. On the lake which just do not even hangar for aircraft. Night at this time almost entirely light, polar day. So hard to fall asleep. But on a bicycle trip in the beginning always get out quickly. And so we are soon asleep.

34. The next day we arrived in Buda. We had a whole day to walk in the Arctic town and visit all the museums. Bodø, located north of the Arctic Circle, is the largest city in the province of Nordland, and the second largest in North Norway. In fact, it looks like a village:

35. During the second world city is almost completely wiped out: there was a military airfield. But then it was restored under the plan:

36. And then we decided to arrange a lunch. These are yogurt (by the way, very very tasty) are about 100-120 rubles in our currency. You open the package of peanuts (which there is a mountain!) And pour in the yogurt. In such fuel can be reached by a couple of dozen miles or museums around Bude :)

37. The town itself is situated near the sea. The city is a neat village with 2-3 storey buildings, and streets lined with buildings from the sea is larger - shops, hotels. You can buy clothes and travel, and the gas (which we did). Over the weekend, the big stores in Norway do not work! Do not expect to buy anything at the weekend in Norway ...
But in Buda can just die of boredom if you always live here: the deserted streets, neat houses to the smallest detail - a Russian svihnetsya here.

38. The town has a pier where cruise ships are moored. I am always amazed these homes:

39. And yet - the old island with guns:

40. The National Museum is nothing special to do. He looks like a provincial Russian museum with stuffed papier-mache:

41. But the Norwegians canned delicious and cheap. In the evening we went to the Aviation Museum in Bodø (it separately, it is the most interesting point of Buda) - and lay down to sleep in tents near the guns (40).

42. In the morning we woke up very early to carry out Sasha for the first ferry, and then fly by day in the Vaeroy. All night and all night rain. In Norwegian, it turns out, there is a sense of humor. When I put Dennis next to the ship and while the panorama shot with it (Dennis - to scale) - the side quietly approached a mechanic - and, dropping the hose from the ship, threw it for fun later on a backpack of Denis, with something in his joking and laughing out loud ...

43. Trains have a very cool:

44. On the morning after the rain a good walk in the desert city:

45. But the most interesting - take a walk on the waterfront Buda. Then smell the sea, fresh fish. Early in the morning air was very transparent, and then the sea began to knurl fog.
